Ah thats a possiblility Andy. I did also wonder if it could have been an Ambient Air Temperature Sensor which are usually mounted behind the bumper to get the air flow and measure the outside temperature. But there would only be one plug so if you have two plugs then chances are it is what you say, driving lamps.

Hi....welcome to the Forum There are several double din stereos available in Halfords that would suit your needs and you should also be able to pick up a lead adapter to suit as well. As for the heated seats, you may need to code them into the car to acquire the current required to power them, otherwise they should fit and plug in as normal

It looks like it should plug into a sender unit, which may have been present on the previous radiator (if replaced) and not equipped on the one that is in the car. I would also move it around in the radius of its available length to see what sensors or plugs are in the area

It should have the capability but need to check to see if activated. Also, some of these units develop faults so it could be as a result of an issue with the hardware/software. Quite a bit of info on faults with these systems, worth a trawl through these forums and also our good friend 'Google'

Hi.....welcome to the Club Does the car have air conditioning? With Air Con, the fans run to draw air through the condensor so it may be that running. Try turning it off and see if the fans stops, if not then it could be a defective coolant sender on the radiator

It should be capable of opening and closing when battery voltage is supplied to it but it is usually cycled via the ECU. Try putting 12 volts to from the battery but careful not to short out anything directly back to the battery (risk of fire, explosion, etc)

The usual method is to hold down the unlock button until the windows drop. Possibly try this with the ignition switched on to initiate this feature to the vehicle

As far as I remember i think you will need to remove it access the bolt doesn't mean it has to go back in though

I would change the crankshaft sensor and also look at the camshaft sensor as well if in doubt (quite cheap to purchase and relatively easy to fit as well

I would check that the service lamp has been properly reset. It has to been done with a scan tool as the oil needs resetting to mileage and this requires the scanner to do this.

Shame it didn't work out of the box Andy, it may have been the incorrect part number for that engine? Maybe worth posting it in the Parts For Sale section of this forum to see if its any good to any members

I would say it sounds more like carbon build up in the EGR and intake system. Using a fuel additive as well as an EGR cleaner or even a Terraclean on the engine would help cure this issue

If the car hasn't had much use over lockdown then the vehicle battery could be failing, worth having it checked to eliminate this as the primary cause

You can't go wrong with any NextBase cameras and specs are highest in the market with keen prices as well. Worth getting the hard-wire kit to go with it

Halfords sell double din stereos and usually heavily discount them occasionally. They also sell the fascia plates and adapter leads to suit the vehicle and head unit

Eurocarparts would probably be the cheapest ... just wait for the best discount code to come up (e.g. 45% off is quite good)

Great news! hopefully no long term damage resulted from the oil filter housing being damaged. Although, I can't see the connection with that and poor running unless it was being starved of oil?
