Campbell Posted October 3, 2023 Share Posted October 3, 2023 P0366 I Recently bought a 2012 astra sri, the eml came on with code P0366 cam position sensor. The previous owner has left a receipt in the car confirming that the cam position sensor had been replaced. Is it possible that the other sensor is failing also? The car runs OK but is a bit gutless and my wife has told me failed to start a few times with her. She has turned off and it then starts OK. Vauxhall Owners Club Posted October 6, 2023 Share Posted October 6, 2023 Be aware that it could be a loose (worn) cambelt/camchain and this leads to the cam sensor being out of phase with the crank sensor If there is any rattling coming from the engine or an overdue oil and filter change then it would be prudent to look at this before spending big money on replacement parts Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
