Hi all. New member here. Hope everyone is doing well.

Just recently purchased a 2005 astra sri 2L turbo xp. I've been told that there aren't many of this model around? So any recommendations on certain things to keep on top of engine wise to keep her healthy are appreciated.

Welcome aboard mate 🙂 ive got a silver one 😄 2.0 sri turbo 200+ full xp 🙂 love it but the gearbox is borked so im now about to make it a 5spd instead of 6

Keep it regularly serviced and make sure the cambelt and water pump replacement is up to date.. Id also advise changing  your gearbox oil..only down side to these are the m32 gearboxes

As Siggy has mentioned, keep on top of servicing and use the best quality components and fluids as you can afford....it does make a difference on longevity of the vehicle.
