I have just taken ownership of a 2006 Monaro VXR with the 6.0 LS2 motor and they seem to be quite rare these days, so much so, that my local Vauxhall dealership who were the Monaro VXR specialists at the time it was originally purchased no longer support the car and cannot offer any service support or parts. I am looking to hopefully connect with other Monaro VXR owners to learn more about the car ie common problems/defects etc, maintenance tips and where to source even just everyday consumables, filters, belts, plugs and so on. The car is in exceptional condition having only done 14k since new and im hoping i can keep it that way for many years to come!!! Vauxhall Owners Club Posted March 19 Share Posted March 19 Hi...welcome to the Club I love the Monaro and always wanted one but those days are sadly behind me now. Would like to see some pics of the beastie if you want to post some up? The LS2 engine is bulletproof so you shouldn't have any issues with that side of things.
