Mellie1968 Posted January 18 Share Posted January 18 Hi, I have a 2017 Astra K with the infotainment system, My mic doesn't work for hands free and good old Google says if you remove the fuse it resets it all, factory reset didn't fix it. I'm wondering if I do that, will I need a code for it to work again? Does it even have a code? Thanks, just want to male sure it's not the actual mic as not got a clue where to find that. Vauxhall Owners Club Posted January 19 Share Posted January 19 Probably best to look through any vehicle documentation to see if there is any mention of a code. Although a lot of systems don't have them now as the audio is coded through the CanBus network so it will only work on that particular car unlike the old days of stealing one and fitting into another car with or without a code.
