BuzbyS Posted August 3, 2023 Share Posted August 3, 2023 Hi everyone My meriva b has32,000Plus on the clock! at 28,615 Miles The water Pump failed! &was replaced under warrantee! Now at 32,000 Steam/cottage cheese poured out of the expansion tank when I was Parking!Head Gasket Blown?I had to wait 7/1/2 weeks to get it booked in at The Vauxhall dealership?Now it has a Lifetime Warranty?( Or the dealer said It had Expired? strange as I got a Email from Vauxhall saying you don't Need to reactivate every year now Just keep getting it serviced which I did every Year)Now back to the Repair!They have examined it & say the Parts Come to more than the Value£2700 & scrap the vehicle!I have raised a Complaint case at Customer service about the Missing Reactivation. Waiting to hear back from Them?But should a Engine on a Vehicle with so few Miles Be scrapped,I know short journeys can be Bad!But32,000 since2011!It doesn't fill me with confidence!So if the reactivation is sorted?So what happens then?
