Hi All.

         Just got home after having to be towed 15mls.

warning sign on dash, “Turbo boost pressure fault”

Had a look and found the top connection of the Intercooler pipe had blown clean off.

From what I have read, this seems to be a common occurrance.

Advice please on which route to repair, ie washer repair kit, Complete OEM hose or aftermarket hose. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I would be tempted to go for an aftermarket hose like Samco (Demon Tweeks sell them) as stronger and less likely to bellow on boost or detach from the housing....also a lot cheaper than OE

Thanks, but went for a genuine GM part. I understand your view but thought if I ever have to take it into a Vauxhall garage I can just hear them saying, well you haven’t used GM parts. 

Job done now anyway, but what a faff getting the bottom clip on right, never mind the job of removing the fog light bezel to get at it.
