I have a problem with my Zafira C 2.0 CDTI, the car runs well at low revs, but when hold the engine in high revs the check light comes up and car goes in limp mode. ECU stores P2270 fault - MAF sensor performance. I removed the MAF from the car and clean it, also checked all pipes and didnt find any leaks. I checked the MAF values in live data and seems ok, but I noticed that MAP sensor actual values values are lower than desired from the ECU. Also checked for the leaks around the MAP sensor, but cound''t find.

I would appreciate any help if anyone is faced with that problem.

If you run the engine with the MAF sensor plug disconnected then it will run at a default setting which is close to where is should be so if the engine then runs well you know its the sensor.

If it doesn't make any difference then I would be looking elsewhere.....possibly turbo variable vanes gummed up with carbon is a popular one for these symptoms
