Hi I've just acquired a 62 plate meriva with 76,000 miles. Its a 1.7 diesel and no service history. Anyone know when timing belt should be checked/changed?

Hi there. Vauxhall recommend changing about every 60,000 or 10 years. So it could have been already changed. But if you don't have any service history, I would be tempted to get it changed in the near future. That way you know its been done, and then you can keep your own record of due dates for future replacement.
