Hi

I have recently been having a problem with my zafira life 04 reg

I have lost all power when accelerating, the max speed I get is about 45mph. The engine sounds like it is clicking when I accelerate but it does still sound like its producing power

When I rev it when parked there is a rattling in the lower drivers side of the engine

Although I believe I saw white smoke a few days back all I seem to get now is a strong smell of petrol when I rev

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

A bit more info on what engine it has etc ;)

It's a 1.6 ecotech petrol engine I believe it is a 16 valve

Thanks, when you say "rattling" is it a tinny rattle like metal on metal or more of a tick?

When was the timing-belt last change? ... And last full service?
