Rear electrical problem

A little while ago, all of a sudden, the left rear door open telltale on the dash illuminated, (cancelled by the stalk button) at the same time, the rear windows stopped opening)thankfully in the closed position, and as I assume  because of the ‘door open’ indication closed or not, the interior lights remained on. With an MOT on the horizon anyone have an idea where to look?

Sounds like the door switch on that door is defective

Alternatively, the wiring within the rubber boot connecting the door to the pillar has a broken wire
