I have only ever driven ICE cars, and in a car wash, I just set them to Neutral and keep the handbrake off.

I will be getting my Corsa Electric at the end of January (10 weeks from now) and decided to have a nosey around the Owner's Guide.

I noticed this section:

Is it really that complicated, or is the manual just being excessive?
