How to set up Corsa Electric for going through a car wash?

I have only ever driven ICE cars, and in a car wash, I just set them to Neutral and keep the handbrake off.

I will be getting my Corsa Electric at the end of January (10 weeks from now) and decided to have a nosey around the Owner's Guide.

I noticed this section:

Is it really that complicated, or is the manual just being excessive?

Mind you, the instructions are for the car washes where they require the car to move....most car washes the car is stationary
