Wow I thought I was the only one who loved there Vauxhall 🙃 I own a 2009 Astra design 1.6 with 47k miles. Been in the family from new.

No you're not the only Vauxhall lover. 😃.

I too have an Astra, but mines a little older. 2002 Astra G 1.6 club. Although I am the 5th owner, it has only been with 2 families. Mine being the 2nd. She has just clicked over 230,000 miles, so not doing too bad.

Wow 230k If mine last until then I'm sorted for the next 15 years.😊👍

Regular services,  and a bit of tlc, and it should last the course. I'm doing about 80 miles a week so not too bad, used to be best part of 200 whilst kids were in high school.
