I have recently purchased a 21 reg Crossland 1.2 SRI Nav turbo 110ps and have a problem. When the ignition is switched off, the engine continues to turn for anything from 2 to 5 seconds. The dealer informs me that this happens on every car of this model, although I haven't seen proof. They have refused to investigate furher and a complaint is currently with head office. What I am looking for is independent confirmation that this is typical of this model and have any other owners got the same problem. If anyone can help or needs more information please post on this site. Thanks 

Unless it is a turbo-timer function that is in place to allow the oil to circulate and cool the turbo rather than instantly shutting it down and starving the hot turbo of oil after a motorway run for example

Mine does that. Caught me out a couple of times letting the clutch out when in gear when parking up. Not a problem if you park in neutral,  but I like to leave it in gear.
