Poor fuel economy

Hello, we have recently bought a zafira 16 plate in 1.4 turbo petrol. However the fuel economy is really poor. We only manage to get 200 miles from a tank of fuel. We have put it into the garage under the warranty and they are saying  there is no fault.

Has anybody else experienced this. We love the car but it's costing far to much in fuel. Any help and advice will be gratefully received.

Hi....welcome to the Club

I would suggest as it is now a 5 year old car that serviceable components such as fuel filter and spark plugs would need replacing (if they have not already been done in advance) and see if the performance and economy return.
