GTC remap

Hi, I have a 2012 1.6 GTC and would like to hear from anyone who has experience of having the 180hp remapped to 210hp , has it caused any issues etc .

I wouldn't think the power increase is enough to cause issues as its well within what the manufacturers would map it up to (they always allow a margin under what the engine is capable of)

Well that's the theory, but it's the reality I was interested in, and are all remaps the same ??

If it's any help, I bought a chip from a German company called racechip+for £200 ,just plug the wiring harness into your car at 4 points ,follow diagram, took 10 minutes, my gtc has 170bhp now instead of 140 bhp ,they also do one that would have given me 235 bhp mine has been in 3 years now ,you also get an app for your phone so you can connect to the chip by Bluetooth and change the settings of the chip
