hi i'm steve  i am a new member.  I was wondering how to turn the service light off on vauxhall insignia sri nav cdti s/s

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum.

There are a few videos on YouTube that show various ways of resetting your service light. It all depends on the year of your car, as to which way to do it. But they all involve twisting and turning the left-hand stalk on the column. There is one that shows it being reset using the controls on the steering wheel too.

It would probably be an idea to watch them and see which is your car, and then play the video step by step whilst sitting in the car.
