April 21, 20214 yr Hey everyone. I'm new here, nice to meet you. I'm hoping someone can help. I have a 2016 zafira 1.4 and recently, the fan decided to come on from the car being started until it's switched off. The thermostat is fine but there was a fault for the coolant temp sensor. I have changed this part but the fan is still going. Any ideas are most appreciated.
April 22, 20214 yr Hi.....welcome to the Club Does the car have air conditioning? With Air Con, the fans run to draw air through the condensor so it may be that running. Try turning it off and see if the fans stops, if not then it could be a defective coolant sender on the radiator
