Hi all

Hopefully someone has had the same problem, the car starts and drives, leave for 5 mins, wont start, leave long may start, or it wont start at first, leave an hour, away we go. any ideas please??????

Sounds like crankshaft sensor at fault.

The resistance changes with temperature and if faulty the cuts out until it cools down.

Check fault codes with a scanner and see if crank sensor comes up

No fault codes, no lights etc on dash, very confusing have ordered a new sensor an glow plugs, so we'll see how these work.

All fitted, starts a hell of a lot better, no issues with restarting at the moment, fingers crossed all sorted, I will reply if, if same probs return, ty again.
