Cbklivevil Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Hi, About a month ago I replaced my coil pack on my Zafira B 2007, solved issues but now these issues have arrived again. Changed spark plugs over but still issues. Misfiring, shuddering. If needed I have all the freeze frame info to help.
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Have you checked the correct plug gaps as these can be instrumental in knocking out the coils
Cbklivevil Posted November 24, 2019 Author Posted November 24, 2019 Hi, we checked them from the existing ones and looked the same although if all plugs weren't in the correct position wouldn't that put out all Cylinders and not just 3?
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Easiest method would be to take the plugs out and see how they look, e.g. wet with fuel The gaps and tightening torque is critical to avoid premature coil failure
Cbklivevil Posted December 30, 2019 Author Posted December 30, 2019 So to further on the issues with the car. Changed Coil Pack Changed Spark Plugs (gaps exact) Changed EGR Valve Cleaned Throttle Body Checked Wiring / replaced Coil Lead Changed Lambda Sensor When at a set speed it's fine but as soon as I put my pedal down it shudders and the Engine Management light starts flashing, once I take my pedal off it stops flashing but stays on. Normally worse on lower gears. Still same code - P03030 Cylinder Misfire #3 Any ideas where to go from here?
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Is the coil pack a combined one (e.g. 4 coils on a rail) or are they individual coils? Also, have a look at the wiring going to number 3 cylinder coil pack for damage
