Hi, 

The Intellilink R3.0 system in my Vauxhall Adam recently froze and when taking it to the local dealer for repairs, I was told that I would need to replace the entire system and it would cost an obscene price to fix. 

My car is no longer under warranty, so I spoke to a local vehicle soundsystem expert who told me that if I can purchase a new system he would be able to fit this in for me, but I first needed to check if the Intellilink R3.0 system required coding / programming to the ECU, as that is something only the dealer can do. 

Can anyone help out here? Did anyone ever have to replace the system?
