  1. Evening all, My father has a Vauxhall Meriva 2014 1.4 Petrol (Techline Model) and the other day he found the pictured hose on the floor, near the drivers side wheel. Looking at the initial number printed on the hose (GM 13340810), I think it might be the air cleaner box drain hose. Am I right please?! I can't find much online about where it goes but i'm guessing it goes in the bottom of the air filter box, as shown by the blue circle in the 3rd pic i've uploaded? If this is the case then although it holds, it seems to be quite loose and feels like it'd easily fall out again. Could anyone please confirm whether or not i'm putting it in the right place and i'd appreciate suggestions about how to keep it held in place too! Thanks in advance for your help

  3. Hi I am after some information and advice please After reading some of the owners posts, I would like to say i am a little concerned. The car i am going to buy is 2020 Diesel 1.5 Turbo Auto Elite. I wanted to tow a racing motorcycle with it. The bike is 185k and the trailer is quite light. I was going to get a stage 1 remap. I was wondering if anyone had a remap done? Also what is an easytronic auto gearbox like? I don't expect it to be like a DSG VW Auto box? Sorry for all my questions, but i am new to the car, i did have a brand new Astra about 11 years ago and the gearbox failed the first year, a manual. Besides that it was ok besides that for 4 years. But this Crossland being just over 3 years old, it won't have a warranty. Also could someone give me a rough price for it with 18k miles on it. All advice and help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

  4. Keep trying. I have just changed my Near Side Sidelight Bulb. Real pain to do. Once you have 2 fingers on the bulb holder Just pull it backwards with a firm grip. It will come out. It does not need to be twisted left or right. Hope this helps.

  5. Hi there, the Astra you are looking for sounds like a very special car. Not only in the sentimental value to yourself, but also being kitted up the way you described. According to the DVLA website, it is on a SORN, and they have no details of an MOT. It also shows that the last log book issued was 5 January 2006. You might find that someone has it in their garage, and are going to get it back out on the road at some point. Good luck in your search. Hope you can find the old girl.

  7. is the pump running when connected to the car? if so they have a very small filter that sits in the washer battle where the pump pushes in, see if that's blocked. ive had it on a few of the older vauxhalls Zafira vectra astras not 100% sure if the newer ones still have it.
