  2. Wheels removed from my Vectra SRI XP purchased from new, due to firm ride and bad back after 2k miles replaced with 18” alloys. Wheels with low profile tyres stored in garage as new. Any sensible offer considered.
  3. Hiya, Battery is good, and fully charged, after trying to set the gearbox to Neutral manually and setting the gear selector to Neutral, using OP com to make sure its set to N once it has been refitted and the brake is pressed the gear selector makes a noise and switches back to 4th, Looking on opcom I Can't see anything to do with a master reset. I was thinking about getting the selector actuator rebuilt but if its switching back to 4th from N i wouldn't have though anything was wrong with it. Trying to get the box to be in Neutral is a pain, I am going to try again at the weekend and see if I can get any further forward.
  4. Owners handbook is the best way or working through the settings but may be an online version which would be easier to follow
  5. Langfords at Semley are bound to have something there but you will need to walk around the yard to find it - take some wellys with you :-)
  6. Not sure if it is connected but is the battery a good one and fully charged? Again, not sure but is there a master reset once the battery has been changed? I cannot see how it would have changed anything by leaving it standing except for any factory settings which maybe it cannot achieve through either a scantool to reset or record new voltage settings

  13. No other fault codes displayed on the OpCom, We've been today trying to manually center the gearbox selector shaft. However, when we believe it is centered only one wheel turns, when we rotated the steering wheel to the right (fully) one wheel span forwards the other backwards. We have had the gear selector actuator out to manually put this into neutral aswell but when we believe to have them both in a neutral position the actuator doesnt align with selector shaft.

  19. If you're in Salisbury then there is the scrapyard on Southampton Road (near Halfords) Also there is a scrapyard at Semley - Langford Car Spares who seem to have everything there and you can wander round and select what you want
  20. Luckily the Corsa only has 1 wet belt on the earlier fords there are 2 belts camshaft drive and some garages only replace the top one, so when inspected it looks like the belt has been changed, but then the camshaft belt shreds.

  22. I couldn't agree more with your comment about the Ford wet belt issues. Neighbour had a focus diesel, the wet belt degraded and sent particles of rubber through the oil system, thus slowly killing the engine. Ended up replacing whole engine. So yes get it checked out regularly for piece of mind.
  23. Hi there have you tried ebay? Failing that it might have to be a vauxhall dealership. I have found in the past that ebay has come up trumps on a lot of parts. Some can be high silly prices, but thee are quite a few that are decently priced. Hope this helps. Regards AndyR
  24. Anyone know of any scrap yard in southwest that has cavalier. I need the facelift plastic panel that bolts on the boot on my hatchback

  27. Hello all, As described above I'm needing the pipe quite urgently as the one currently on our Zafira is leaking and as of this minute I don't know where to find one anywhere at all which I find quite amazing as I thought these vehicles where popular, so as I'm running out of options I'm hoping the "Vauxhall Owners Club" could possibly help me as to try and locate one from a online seller or merchants somewhere, any help would be very much appreciated, please note if it helps this pipe is the one located on the "bottom" of the expansion tank. Thanks in advance Andy
  28. Hi....welcome to the Club Judging by the history of the Ford Ecoboost engines with wetbelts it is a concern to say the least Consensus is that regular (even more frequent) oil changes is imperative and check what is coming out with the oil (fibres, etc)
  29. I can't find anything specific on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=vauxhall+zafira+parcel+shelf+brackets&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4439441.m570.l1313 Maybe if he can find another Zafira and take a photo of the brackets to narrow down the search?

  31. Hey, been a member for a few years but rarely used the forum and my previous 2 Corsa's ran like a dream. Did want to know if anyone that has a Corsa with a wet belt has had any issues? My car has been fine, had been contemplating bringing the service forward (last one done 27/01/25, bought car March 25) so things are checked before warranty runs out and MOT is due. Is the wet belt even covered under the warranty? Mileage atm is 28,000.
  32. Hi anyone one know where can i find someone working on transmission control modules to reprogramming after gearbox change?

  34. Hi all, my son in laws Zafira Elegance is missing the shelf mounts that sit behind the seats, and he wants to fit some to be able to use the parcel shelf. Does anyone have any ideas of where we could possibly get some from please. And what the proper name for them would be. Thanks in advance. AndyR
  35. Hi all, I'm new to the forum, I've done some hunting but can't seem to see if this question has been answered before. I have a 2007 vivaro with a crew cab and standard seats. I was wondering if it is a straight switch to remove these and replace them with a set of folding rear seats from a vivaro life/combi from the same year or model? Looking at creating a bed in the back whilst maintaining the ability to transport 6 people. Thanks in advance Jules
  36. I have two problems with my new grandland. 1. Electric boot will only open on it's own 10 per cent of the time 2. It will not run in hybrid mode if the fan is switched on. Fan off and it runs in in hybrid. Has anyone any suggestions on how to rectify these problems John
  37. Hello all. I was wondering is there anyone out there who knows how to remove the surround on the front foglights please to gain access to the lamps etc please. thank you. From Sean.

  39. Morning folks! Just wondering how people have managed if they have had a wet belt issue? My Mokka was bought new in 2022 and has done 34k miles. Serviced regularly and only once was it not serviced through Vauxhall in 2024, as they had a waiting list of over a month so I took it to formula one aurocentre. I had my last service through Vauxhall and within 3 weeks the engine light had come on saying the oil pressure was low. Given the service was so recent I went back, they confirmed that the oil was at the right level but topped it up anyway. They did not check the belt. The oil light came on again around 6 weeks ago, but then went off a day later. I called Vauxhall and they said to keep an eye on it but it might just be an electric issue. The light came on again 3 weeks ago and so I called my local vauxhall garage who couldn't fit me in until last week and I therefore asked a mechanic I know to come over and check it, who confirmed the wet belt has heavily deteriorated and to stop driving it. I took it to vauxhall last week, having called them daily to try and get a last minute cancellation appointment and they confirmed that it was a manufacturer fault but wouldn't fix it via goodwill as I had one service through F1. The invoice from F1 didn't state the oil type and after several calls to F1 they advised me that they can't amend invoices but did send me an email detailing everything used and done during that service, which I then forwarded to vauxhall. Vauxhall still refused to fix via goodwill and on top of that, won't give me an overall price to fix the car. Stating that the sump needs clearing and the belt replaced but they don't know if anything else needs doing. Seeing as they've checked the car already I would've thought that they would know but then I'm not a mechanic so 🤷 My question is, have any of you had a similar issue and how long did it take to resolve? I've only seen forums re other vehicles! Sorry for war and peace, but I thought best to give some background to my story :)
  40. Try putting your reg number into Eurocarparts website and look in engine section to see if it lists a timing belt or chain - easy way to determine which you have and also rough cost for parts
  41. I have a 2019 Corsa registered in September 2019, I want to know if it has a dry belt, wet belt or timing chain because I have heard some woryying co9mments regarding wet timing belts
