Crossland Ultimate Nav Folding mirrors???
hobsic25 replied to Paul Green's topic in Vauxhall Crossland & Grandland X Club
Mine has folding mirrors. Can be closed manually by putting the mirror adjustment lever l/r to the centre and moving it to the rear. It also closes automatically when the car is locked. - Today

Evening all, am I right in thinking that the 1.4t petrol engines are prone to head gasket failure? If so, are there any oreventative measures I can take beyond regular servicing? Thanks very much.

Hi,] I have popped onto here as I have a 2004 Corsa wait for it.....1.8SRI for sale. Not bad condition for age but not great either, it has been and still does run perfectly well but the MOT runs out the end of this month and I have bought my son a replacement car and I no longer have room for this classic rare 1.8 beast. It would be good as a doer upper and if anyone on here is interested I will provide pictures. Thanks Russell P.S. I am in Newmarket Suffolk.

Back at the end of May, my 2014 Insignia failed its MOT due to the common condensation issue in the headlights, both sidelights stopped working. Everything I read online told me it would be difficult and expensive to find the right Xenon LED Adaptive Forward Lighting headlights. Came across Luke’s service by chance while browsing on eBay. After getting in touch on the 6th June, I was given a very reasonable quote, way cheaper than anything else I had found. Really liked the fact that I only needed to pay a £100 deposit to secure my booking. Even better, Luke was really friendly and understanding, and took the time to explain the whole process to me. Finally got the work done on 9th June, dropped the car off, then popped over to the nearby Asda for breakfast and coffee while they worked. Unexpectedly quick turnaround, I got a call not long after to say the car was ready to collect. Luke and the team fitted and programmed both headlights and gave me a 12-month warranty, which was great peace of mind. Having them sort this out so quickly really saved me from a lot of stress and hassle, other garages couldn’t even source the parts. Everything was handled professionally, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Really recommend this service if anyone here is stuck with the same problem, genuinely brilliant experience with DJA AUTO INTERNATIONAL REDDITCH.

Code 68 and no power steering with no fault codes
RebeccaMeriva replied to RebeccaMeriva's topic in Vauxhall Meriva Club
No, it cant do that. Its the Foxwell NT301 so really all it can do is read and reset trouble clodes. is there a way to do it without having to buy a whole new scan tool? -

Hi can anyone help & tell me where I can find the glow plug module on my meriva b 1.6cdti 2014/15 . I’ve looked around engine bay & removed battery & tray but cannot seem to see it anywhere & im stump now as to where to look any help locating this on this model will be much appreciated darren

great news and good diagnosis of the real fault - always usually something simple but difficult to find
-
Finally managed to get my dash working again. I found a reset method which has cured the problem. It's called disconnection of the battery for 15 minutes. I decided to remove the after market wiring for the electric fan, and whilst doing this I needed to disconnect the live terminal. And once I had done, and all was back together. The dash was working again, and has been ever since. And I am no longer getting a static shock every time I get out of the car. Which is a win win in my book.

Wonder if its a simple fault to resolve to get the roof working again? If not then maybe look through fuses or find the chime generator and disconnect that
-
Oh dear (about the speedo) but great news about the MOT test
