Hi Guys,
I need advice on the Driver Side door mirror, as it has come loose and it was hanging off, so i took the mirror out, but the other element is still connected to the body of the mirror.
Do i need to change the element or i can stick another mirror, as i was going to stick the mirror which came off, but i slightly sanded back mirror and i ruined it, as i was going to super glue it.

So do i buy a mirror with self adhesive label and stick it on to the existing element or do i buy the full element with mirror and replace.

Your help and advice will be appreciated.

My car is Vauxhall Astra j 1.7cdti- 5 door hatchback 2011.

A replacement mirror glass can be purchased to fit directly onto the existing one or for more money you can get a complete replacement glass

Never use Superglue as when it hardens it will contract and break the glass
