Just bought a 2007 Tigra to do auto testing in for a bit of a laugh. I was aware of the roof not opening along with the boot as well on purchase hence why the car was cheap. Rest of the car is in really good working order. The car does it's standard faulty beeping noise when first taking off which isn't a issue on a long journey but during an auto test when you stop and start alot it's becoming a tad annoying 🤣 Not bothered about roof ever going down but was wondering if simple removal of certain fuse will at least stop the constant beeping when I'm competing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

I have just bought a 2006 tigra auto for my daughter as a birthday surprise but needed to get the non working roof & boot sorted. Not knowing where to start I took it to Cayman roofs Ltd in Redhill and for £80 (£96 inc vat) they carried out a diagnostic check.
3 hours later they informed me the roof pump and the door switch on the drivers side were not working. Good result I think and now I know what I need. For £750 they would have fixed it the same day but as I only paid £750 for the car I declined.  I had tried to get a diagnostic check with W.J King Vauxhall dealers before Cayman but they wanted £180 plus vat.

hopefully I can get some s/h parts for my Tigra to fix it but won’t have the one years warranty Cayman provide.

I don’t have any affiliation with Cayman but I thought it might help owners as these Tigra’s do suffer with the roofs as do vw Eos and others with metal roofs.
