I have this code 68 come on every so often but I've noticed if I park in gear without handbrake (electric handbrake) the code doesn't come on the next time I start the car however when applying handbrake the starting the car code 68 

I had the car scanned diagnostics and code U0121-00 is displayed not this is the handbrake failing to engage with the car and ideas where to start sort out handbrake module or power steering code 68
