Posted March 27Mar 27 Hi , my merivas engine has locked/ seized. It happened when I had a traction control light & engine management light come on . The car would start but when engaging gears it jumped therefore I would stop & start it a few times then the engine management light & traction control light would go out & it would drive ok. So i was to take it to the garage a few days ago but the didn't start the next morning. RAC was called & they said the engine was locked. I now have an issue I don't know what causes the engine to lock if it was linked with the electric fault or not . Does anyone have any idea what i can do. I brought from the dealership & there's of 45 genuine miles on the clock. Locl garage say they will charge £100 an hour & can only tell me what's up when they strip the engine. Has anyone got any suggestions?
