Gordon Livsey Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Hi there, wonder if anyone can help or point me in the right direction? I own a mk2. 2017 insignia grand tourer, it seems the indicator bulb holder on the near side rear has decided to stop working, on inspection it looks like one of the terminals inside the holder has snapped (hence not flashing) now today I visited my local Vauxhall dealer to at least attempt to order a new one, but was told it comes as a complete rear cluster unit from Vauxhall £330!!! Surely there must be somewhere out there that does the bulb socket and the plug? As I really don’t fancy forking out for a complete unit which ain’t needed!!!!
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I would go to a scrapyard and see whats there....chances are most Vauxhall bulb holders may also be the same so take your old one to compare
Gordon Livsey Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 Been to a couple of scrappys at the weekend, checked the holder and wiring plug on an older insignia and Astra, different plugs on them and the holders are completely different 1
