Vauxhall Crossland 2020 - How to access rear lightbulb

Hi All

 

I've noticed the reverse light has gone out in the right side rear light in my Vauxhall Crossland which is a 2020 make. I've looked inside my car boot and can see the electrical cable which feeds into the light which has a rubber suction around it. 

Is it this which I need to pull out to reach the blown bulb to change or would this cause damage? Thanks
