Has anyone fitted the mains inverter in teh boot space ?

I see the inverters are available on Ebay for about £40 - has anyone fitted one using the cigarette feed in the boot area. when fitted between teh front seats, you wither get teh cigarette lightyer or inverter so i assume its the same feed ? needs to be 10-12 amps i
