July 20, 20232 yr Hi everyone! I'm trying to find out what the tolerances are for lowering my MK1 Insignia sports tourer, and what the biggest size of wheels would be that fit without needing bodywork mods? It's an ES, so essentially bog standard and poverty spec right now. How low can I go and how big can the wheels be? Could I drop it 45mm onto 20"s, for example?
August 15, 20232 yr hey, I have a saloon 20.cdti and have lowered it on adjustable coilovers with a 45mm drop, it also on 20 inch wheels and absolutely fine. Hard ride but all good 🙂

August 15, 20232 yr No worries good luck with the upgrade, one thing i forgot to add was the handling wasnt great on standard set up now though it very good as expected!
