Ianwilli59 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Took my car in for its mot on Monday, whilst they were revving the hell out of it to warm it up all of the coolant came out all over the floor. they stopped the mot and filled the coolant up, I’ve taken the car back to work and the next day I left the car running to warm up. I found that fluid started to come out of the coolant temperature. Sensor. I stopped the engine then as didn’t want it to empty itself again may question is, would it be possible that all the coolant whilst under pressure be able to all come out of the sensor or have I another leak too
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 I would start with replacing the coolant sensor first but coolant will overpressurise if air is allowed to enter the system (e.g. through a leaking sensor or coolant pressure cap that is weak)
