I require to change my car battery but cannot find the radio code. The card with information pack shows Security code 8048 but the Radio Type/Code is blank.

Customer services took over 40 minutes to answer the phone then abruptly cut me off after only 90 seconds.    Is a code needed?

My car is 2015 Astra sports tourer SRI 2lt cdi.

 

If you have the security code then this should be all you need to input into the unit to get it working once you have changed the battery
