Insignia Fuse for Daytime running lights (DRL)

Hello folks and its my first post so please be gentle.

I have a Vauxhall insignia 2013 plate and have purchased some LED underhood daytime light strips.

I have purchased an additional Piggyback fuse and would like the  lights to come on when the engine is on or lights are on.

Does anyone know what fuse could be used to piggyback that sits ideally in the engine fuse box ?  Failing that behind glove box ?

capgeminijay this is also my first post and this is the same question I've been trying to find an answer, for exactly the same reason, hood LED's, I have been looking at the fuse box and Fuse 14 is the Lighting BUT its a chunky 5 pin fuse, so I have tried just wrapping the positive red wire around one of the terminals and see what happens, the lights do come on and I thought to myself, well that was easy, unfortunately when I lock the car the lights stay on, so I asked a few friends who are mechanics and they have suggested either testing on the remaining 4 wires as the pin I must have used must have been the constant feed pin, so will try that on the next dry weather day.  They also suggested using the ignition fuse, so the lights come on when you start the car, however I have seen on various forums and YouTube videos that you should not connect the LED's to any critical fuses as if that blows then your car wont start or other main component related fuses, one suggested one of the indicator, which I guess would mean the Hood LEDs only come on when I indicate.

Another suggestion on a Vauxhall Forum said to use fuses 37 or 38 which are the Main beam lights or  49 or 50 which are the low beam fuses for left or right.

My requirement is that the LEDs come on when I unlock my car along  with the stock DRL's and Xenon sidelights/headlights as the DRL's would stay on mainly anyway as I have my lights setting set to Auto, so the headlight only come on when its detects darkness but the DRL's would still be on.

Any help on this would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance
