My Fuel Flap is stuck, can anyone help have tried the lock and unlock twice while pushing the flap not worked

Try to spraying wd40 around the cap,might just unlock the catch,/ or try double locking with all doors shut.,then give a sharp tap on cover,,I have the same problem with my Zafira
