Automatic gear knob

Hi,new member here,I own a 2011 1.7 CDTI,my gear knob is worn,I have a replacement,but how do you remove the original one to replace please?Many thanks.

Usually gear knobs either unscrew (anticlockwise) or pull directly upwards (but ensure your face is not directly above when doing this - been there before)

Hi, I'm trying to replace the gear knob on a 2011 Meriva 1.7CDTi AUTOMATIC.

Can anyone help?

The only video I could find was for an Insignia, but the gear unit is different.
