Hi I have a vauxhall meriva 10 plate I have indicators issue it started as one side was out but dash board saying it working but was flashing fast no bulbs have blown so changed the relay now all lights out but it's flashing on both sides on dash doing the same thing dose it matter its not a vauxhall dealership relay 

It shouldn't matter that its not a genuine Vauxhall part but it has to be the same specification to work properly

Check also that the side repeaters are working properly as well as this could cause the fast flashing issue
