Cigarrass Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Hello, Looking for some Knowledge and/or Experience . In the flash floods last week my Corsa D got flooded, I un-did the battery - took off the air filter and dried the area- took out the plugs- undid the fuel relay- i then proceeded to crank it over to chuck out water in the cylinder's and all was fine for 10s and then turning over another 5 seconds into it there was a scratch then on the next crank over half a second or so a clunk. checked under the car and found it had pooped, i found several bits of metal on the floor and then checked where it was from, on inspection i found a 2p size hole just under the manifold. I would rather fix the car if it is possible but im awear its scrap unless its possible that i can repair it. Its not the work i have an issue with as i have worked on car's before how ever this is a first with water damage. Could you advise me on tips and know how in this situation ? Thank you in advance
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 How have you managed to get on with rebulding the engine?
