2017 Insignia Steering Rack Program

Hi

just wondered if anyone can provide some help. 
My 67 plate Insignia B has had a new steering rack fitted due to a accident and has been taken to a Vauxhall Dealer as the steering rack needs to be programmed to the car. 
 

The Dealer has said they can’t do it as Vauxhall states a software update is needed. 
 

currently it says code mismatch. 
 

does anyone have any info or knowledge on this?

Hi Jay....welcome to the Forum

I guess they wouldn't be wrong about the software upgrade but it seems like you are in their hands as it would more than likely be a dealer only task.
