electric problem
Oh crikey that sounds like a strange issue you have there. If it was a dead short to earth for the power to the wipers I think it would have blown a fuse rather than switch the engine off Not sure on this one, I wonder if anyone else has had this issue

Oil leak? Exhaust smoke
First thing I would do is top the oil up and then jetwash the affected area so that you can see where the oil is weeping from. Let us know what you find and then we can have a better idea as to the actual source of the leak

Power Steering Problems
Is the battery condition up there or is it an old battery and not able to provide power to the Steering? If it is getting slow to crank the engine over then this is one of the first things to check or replace

Immobiliser problem
Is the vehicle battery in good order (e.g. fully charged)? How bright are the headlamps when the ignition is on? Foot firmly on the brake pedal when trying to switch the engine on? Lock the car and unlock and try again

2015 Astra 1.4 Cylinder Head
Its a tough one and can only be diagnose correctly by carrying out some tests and then dismantling to determine the damage Got to be worth at least running tests to see if it is the head gasket or water pump at fault - you may be surprised by the cheap cost if it is waterpump However, loss of oil may be because it hasn't been topped up in a while and may just need an oil change (looking at it optimistically) Let us know what you find out

Has any of the bulbs been changed lately?- Vauxhall Meet
Hope you can get something sorted for this year (once it stops raining of course)- crossland power saving mode
Wired to save the battery power unfortunately, got the same issue on my Alfa Romeo as there is no 'acc' setting for the key position its either on or off 😞- new member
Hi Dave...welcome to the Club Vauxhall is in the blood then? Good to have you onboard!- Help with cooling system
The best and cheapest route would be to get one made by a company like Hyphose who make industrial hoses to order if you take yours in and they make to the same pattern- Help
The best and cheapest route would be to get one made by a company like Hyphose who make industrial hoses to order if you take yours in and they make to the same pattern- more clutch issue
It most definitely sounds like there is still some air in the hydraulic system Worth trying to bleed the system to see if it improves- New member
Hi fillo .... welcome to the Club What a joy to see one of the old SRi Cavaliers haven't seen one on the road in years! Good to have you onboard- The rear window wiper and the rear washer do not work
It may have blown a fuse if the wiring was broken it could have shorted to earth and popped the fuse- 2013 Bluetooth not working
It can be done via the dealership or an independent Vauxhall specialist who can program in the function- Faulty sos light on 18 month grandlandx
I think it may be an issue with subscription to the service, worth contacting your local dealership to enquire about this- Sticking Clutch Issue
I would look under the dash at the pedals and see if the pedal return spring it securely located and not broken or becoming dislodged- Intercooler pipe, top connection
I would be tempted to go for an aftermarket hose like Samco (Demon Tweeks sell them) as stronger and less likely to bellow on boost or detach from the housing....also a lot cheaper than OE- New member
Hi Craig, welcome to the Club You're never too old to mod cars (I'm still doing it to cars and bikes and I'm 59) the only issue is how much it costs and how much you tell the wife it costs 🙂 Good to have you onboard!- Service esp and tranction control light
Sounds like a faulty ABS sensor which is causing the issue. Take to a local garage for a system scan and see what fault codes are stored- Hello All, Parking sensors, Hand-break, cruise control off?
My first thoughts are the battery is in poor condition and leading to the faults appearing Worth getting the battery tested with a deep discharge tester to determine the condition and if below par then replace with a quality battery.- Reverse Light Wire
Ah I see your problem..... only other way I can think of is to do a continuity test with a multimeter if you can access the bulb and then the nearest connector block but this would involve you checking for power in the circuit first or disconnecting the battery to ensure there is no power going to the meter on the resistance setting Good luck with it all- EGR Valve and Engine Management Light.
Yes, it should be fine - Astra twintop petrol filler flap won't open
