  1. Looking for a new home for a future vintage Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6 CDx Auto. From a peak of nearly 4000 in 2001 there are only 139 left according to 'How Many Left'. Manufactured in 1998 I have owned it since 2002. I took it off the road 8 years ago and since then it has been garaged and regularly run. I had intended to keep it for myself as a vintage car but lack of space makes that impractical. It is in good condition for its age with all original parts and all features working. Only one small spot of rust on a sill that needs attention. Black leather interior is in good condition. Period features include TrafficMaster Oracle and Blaupunkt CD changer. 100k miles on the clock. Full Service history at Vauxhall dealer. Last MOT 2015. As a top of the range model from the end of the 20th Century, if preserved, it will stand in contrast to Vauxhall cars manufactured at the very beginning of the 20th Century. Unlike many mainstream consumer cars from the latter half of the 20th century that have rusted and rotted and been largely rebuilt, this car is original and in full working order. Open to offers from anyone interested in taking on the role of preserving it for the future.

  2. Hi all. I have in my possession some very old cavalier MK1 side skirts, which were never fitted. Some of the "older" generation may recall the official MK1 Cavalier body kit. Well these side skirts I have, we're from that kit. Now. As they are no longer of any use to me, I'd like to know if any members of the vauxhall community wishes to purchase these items off me? Price is negotiable. If there is any interest, please call me on 07487684498. Cheers. Darren.

  3. I had my egr valve with restrictor plates on and didn’t make much difference, so last weekend I set to and put a blanking plate, which I made myself on the exhaust manifold, removed the egr cooler and bent some 15mm copper pipe to go in its place. On the egr valve I put another blanking plate on there until I can afford to get it mapped out. What a difference my 1.9 cdti 150 bhp was flying, then I put a pipercross race air filter in and whoosh she was away again, it no longer feels like I am constantly driving into a head wind, the engine sounds happy and has instant power no lag, and no smoke at all on startup, now and again she still puffs out some blue smoke which it has always done but I think it must be the dpf needs a clean. My car now is like a rocket ship, she is an 08 model Vectra c.
