  7. This wheel in question
  8. Just a quick one is the ac pulley wheel in 2 parts, as I checked the pulley wheel to day before I put new tensioner wheel on I noticed that only the inside of it was spinning and the out side was not like it was a inner wheel with a outer wheel in which had the v groves on it for belt
  9. Replaced the wheel tencher to done how it explains on a you tube vid but it is still coming off
  10. I have had loads of work done it since I had the car back in April just seems to me to be a money pit one thing after another
  11. Hi this s the second time for the belt to come in 4 weeks when ast put back on the drove for time of 4 weeks but today I had the battery service light come on again so checked the belt nd it was off so got it ack on and came off this happened several times belt is good sitting well in groves but just keeps coming off any ideas

  13. have a great Christmas Andy and thanks for all your help in the forums this year Cheers, Trevor
  14. Yeah that's the frightening thing. And I've also found out that I'm the same age as the motorway national speed limit. Not the 70, just the length of time it's been in force.
  15. Earlier
  16. That makes two of us then - but what I find strange is that I am now the same age as old people :-)
  17. Has anyone had to use the stellantis warranty for excessive use of oil. I had a new pcv valve fitted under this warranty but didn't cure the problem. Dealer now suggests a piston ring clean ( using an addative in the oil that doesn't effect the cam belt ) at a cost of £500. This they say is not covered as it is a procedure. Trying to find a number to check if this correct isn't easy. Anyone had a similar problem .
  18. I've just been stung for £1400.00 for a wet belt replacement after 27000 miles and 4 years old. I am going through vauxhall customer care (stanallis ?) and anticipating a fight
  19. Good idea print what you need at the time. Cheers I will give it a go.
  20. Well I am only a few years away from a pension. 😀
  21. Thanks for the prompt reply. Will look for a plug in the boot. There is a hole where the ultimate version has it's camera
  22. oaft, pensioner car
  23. I know there are bluetooth ones so saves running wires through the car If you find any wires that are loose in the tailgate or bumper areas then that may be already there to retrofit an OE reverse camera
  24. Lol....I know what you mean but I bought a Haynes manual in electronic format and printed the pages out that I needed at the time. They might do a deal for both vehicle manuals
  25. well at least you'll get practice removing bumper and other panels to gain access to the radiator
  26. Hi I would like advice on retro fitting a rear parking camera to my crossland sri reg no available if needed
  27. We had our car just over a year from 2nd hand and it started to go. I never knew what it was, when i accelerated, i got "stop the car" and allsorts and it would cut out (not good on a fast bypass up in the highlands) My pal is a mechanic and the prices he said around gave me the fear. He said play your face at Vauxhall, so i did, one free wetbelt fitted for free, and not a £600+ bill, job done, Maybe grovel to Vauxhall as they realist how garbage a wet belt is.
