Multiple warnings on dash
Duffy replied to Tait1983's topic in Vauxhall Crossland & Grandland X Club
Did anyone find a solution to this? A release clutch error on dash board would come on every now and again white on motorway, the clutch went and the clutch was replaced we thought this was the reason the warning light was appearing. However this now comes on everytime I am on the motorway and no one can help me. It beeps and beeps until I stop my journey. I Crossland X 70 plate . - Yesterday

Thank you. That might be something I'll be doing when I get on to it. t works out that these were in the dealers showrooms the year I passed my driving test. It also has the 3 speed automatic box, which was an optional choice as they all came with the 4 speed manual box.

The day I purchased the car release clutch message came on driving on the motorway. It continued to come on now and again only on motorway but stays on beeping until I stop my journey. The car has been back into Arnold Clark 4 times for repair regarding this, the full clutch went and this was replaced 4 months after having the vehicle. We thought this was the reason the error message was displaying. Then the release clutch light appeared again and again. I decided to reject the vehicle, given the many failed repairs and I had proof this was fault on purchase under consumer rights act. 8 months on and I am still stuck with the vehicle, the release clutch error now comes on more frequently basically everytime I am on the motorway. I went for rejection in June through my finance company , there is issues between them the broker and Arnold Clark who are now saying the car is fault free although I have multiple videos photos as evidence to show the release clutch warning. Arnold Clark don’t seem to know why this keeps appearing, neither does the independent mechanic my financial company sent to inspect vehicle. Do you have any ideas? My foot is no where near the clutch when this comes on. Car is Vauxhall Crossland 70 plate. Many thanks Quote

That's great to see some of the old cars still around - i used to work on these when they first came out and never remember getting annoyed by anything unlike the Leyland cars I also used to work on. Happy to offer advice on the Datsun/Nissan when you get round to reviving it in the future

I'm wanting to sell my 1998 Vectra 2.5 V6 Sport in red which I've owned for 25 years but has now been stood for 6 years. No longer used due to corrosion underneath the front end. Car has 115000 miles on the clock with a great engine, gearbox and Magnex exhaust system. Car starts, runs and drives (not on public road) and has no fluid leaks. Interior in good condition with all switches and light in working order. £1500.

Bobchelsea replied to Bobchelsea's topic in Vauxhall Insignia Club

Tank is over 3 quarter full so not level sensor? Dealer stating Cat failure…..!!!! Clowns….!!!…have reset codes and it now has more cleaner in diesel than diesel…!!!…..EML gone as has reset warning….just need to find the dodgy sensor -

It's a 910 Bluebird 1.8 auto. It's been off the road 24 years. I keep saying I'll get it back on the road. But time finds me other jobs to do.

electrics Power to radio at ignition position 1
Vauxhall Owners Club replied to scratchabout's topic in Vauxhall Meriva Club
Glad to hear you had a (semi) successful outcome - the radio does not consume huge amounts of power but left on over time it will flatten the battery.- 10 replies

There are radio code sources online, best bet is to google search it and see what comes up. Some of them you would have to pay a nominal amount to get the code but others are free. You will however, need the serial number from the radio to provide them with something to search against

I can't see the sensor as such but the position is bang on so maybe it is. Worth putting the scanner on the car and see what the live readings are for the ambient air temperature sensor - you'll soon see if it is out of range
-
Oh didn't realise you had an old Datsun, Andy - what model is it?

Hi....welcome to the Club Maybe worth posting this request in the Vectra section and also the For Sale / Wanted section as more Vectra owners hang around there. Good to have you onboard
