Hi there got an astra 1.6 hatch 2013. Time to replace rear axle bushes. Going to replace both sides. Is it OK to do one side at a time then the other is it feasible to to drop 1 side then the other. Mr Haynes says drop the complete axle. What is your thoughts on e bay ones? Some for £19 others 40 - 50 quid each. What would be stronger and last longer. Could buy cheap but don't know if they will last

Yes that is correct and the earth pulses the injector Cannot remember exact voltage but think (distant memory) that it is battery voltage (12 volts upwards)

Worth checking the heater resistor pack or the motor ....have had both parts defective on Vauxhalls before and cheap enough for parts

Judder/bunny hop on pull away
Vauxhall Owners Club replied to kingkongsilverback's topic in Vauxhall Zafira Club
It could be a vaccum leak in the engine, defective clutch springs or Dual Mass Flywheel worn, engine mounts....so many things it could be so worth dropping into a garage for them to diagnose -
Usually water collects in the scuttle panel area below the windscreen and accessed from the engine bay. If you have a sunroof then sometimes the water can travel down into the area you describe where it should drain out but if the drains are blocked then this may be the reason

Best bet is to ask the dealer as have come across forum members who have done the same thing and dealer price was quite reasonable -

How you getting on with it? -
Maybe the pads are sticking in the carrier - best to remove pads and see that they are free to slide sideways, if they are seized then they will need cleaning up (sometimes have too much paint on them) and copperslip to ensure they don't stick in the future

Insignia B front bumper lower grill trim.
Sidney replied to Adam H's topic in Vauxhall Insignia Club
I now have a question for you Adam H, my chrome trim disappeared so had to spent the £80 but it’s not staying clipped on, haven’t got the black grille off yet so my question is: are there metal clips that hold the chrome on to the grille at the back, or clips that are part of the black grille and have broken off? -
Hi Does anyone have an auto box for this please

Had same problem , AA patrol came out, took plastic steering casing off top and bottom , released the barrel and the problem was the ignition solenoid, there is a small lever that moves forward and backwards when turning the key . That was the problem

Hi all, Has anyone experienced clunking sounds from their Grandland X Hybrids? Especially driving in electric mode you can hear the clunking sounds from the front rightof the car. It sounds like something needs to be lubed up. When i go over bumps the sound doesnt appear so i dont believe its the suspension. I have seen some posts about ball joints, if this sounds like this, has anyone had this sorted and a rough cost you paid? Thanks all

Hi all, hope everyone is shining up their cars for the summer. If anyone is interested, there is a new event at Stonham Barns Park, in June. It is a non club stand event, but you can either do the weekend or just a day. All you have to do is turn up in your Vauxhall, Bedford, or Opel. I will add a picture with details on. Would be nice to meet up with some faces of owners.

Help. I have a 2010 meriva 1.4 petrol about 4 weeks ago it went into limp mode. I connected it to the diagnostic computer and it said cam sensor faulty. I replaced it and it was fine for 4 days then it went again. I turned out it had 2 sensors and I replaced the 2nd one. All fine for a week then it went again saying the crankshaft sensor was faulty so it was replaced and the car ran lovely for a week but today it went again saying the crank sensor and cam sensors are faulty. My wife needs the car for work and I need it for my chemo treatment visits. Any ideals out there. Pensioner.

You should be able to use one of these to resolve the issue - Towing Can Bus Relay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171352163243?epid=11007713547&itmmeta=01HWWPERXZF1KG9K4MMBZW01YD&hash=item27e56283ab:g:tuQAAOSwzkVfaWEL&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA4Kqtbspe84444phqUhsdAq3QpdgWNB3L8frnK7WLGqNzDdVMgtxn4IWda%2B7g20VnVd5%2Fg8HVygAtaK5iFwTJOqJKZgpVjgDaIF9Y3eVJAVYadyUezXyC%2Br2cB98w3syU7Y5fqQAMkqYOc3Ppr%2BISC8Fq5X7vxhCeKWRdOVBJ%2Fd6L5GBYEFr0llLDqnt5kFVwBHay7xbNibCCSIDNOAT%2FqYPGC%2FUjUPaQ3H1GSvp3QSqJVtC7X27ENVFrleprNXhW5m95407hIIhfMiwmAWPY1f7dYabg8RlJwmbP2Tynk3SR|tkp%3ABFBMjI-7ludj

Insignia 2019 2.0l diesel P226B fault code
Msu190 replied to Msu190's topic in Vauxhall Insignia Club
Just incase anyone else has this issue, the veins were blocked in the turbo, half a tin of mr muscle oven cleaner and 20 mins later running fine. I have now got ‘ service Adblue system’ on dash but it’s not the first time and according to Vauxhall it will disappear by itself eventually! It did last time so fingers crossed it will this time. -
Hi indicators working but no sound and also parking assistant not working both stop at same time

grandland x 1.2 turbo oil usage
missdudbuyer posted a topic in Vauxhall Crossland & Grandland X Club
Purchased a petrol grandland x 1.2 turbo 7 months ago from an independent garage. Was serviced at the time at 32000. Now at 39000. Oilcheck kept saying okay on turnover. Engine management light has been on off for 4 days. Today it went red. Check the oil and it was bone dry! I ve filled it up and will take it to the garage first thing (if it's still running!) Can anyone advise me on if its a fault with the car, as I'm seeing lots of you say... can Vauxhall foot the bill ( although I didn't buy direct from them) or can I return to the garage I bought from? I ve had it 7 months though? Please help... 43 year old fed up female commuter
