Hi all, recently purchased a 2018 insignia 1.5 petrol, and I have had to get the timing chain done already after 8 days, besides that, since I have got th car back, a new click/ clunk comes from the engine on a cold start up, I was told it was completely normal for these cars as it's just the actuators so they are now not responsible after replacing the chain , I didnt believe them but had no choice to take the car home, but now that clicking not only happens on a cold start up, it's starting to happen every time I press the throttle even if I so much as tap it, I have made sure to test with air con completely off and the clutch down to see if it goes and it doesn't, it really doesn't sound right, it sounds quite deep in the middle of the engine, should I pursue this or is it genuinely normal for an insignia? Please bare in mind I am by no means a mechanic, I appreciate any/ all advice!
