My driver's door won't work

Inside handle won't open door

Can be opened from outside

.Mechanic has changed cable and no luck.Also got a used lock and still no luck.

He has suggested a New lock and cable and I'm having a lot of trouble getting a New Vauxhall Vectra C door lock.

Can anyone help?

 

Car is a 2008 Vauxhaull Vectra SRI
