The LED on my passenger headlight has stopped working, I’ve been told this requires a new headlight but the part is no longer produced ( Part number 13426665 LH / 13432958 LH )

Anyone know where I can get one, otherwise it looks like I need a new car as this fails the MOT.

This is the same problem as the Headlight Replacement post below - Nov 2023.  For me, trying to get it replaced in the normal service and MOT process at a Vauxhall dealer, Vauxhall had this part on order, but out of stock, for months on end.  I tried other garages but out of stock everywhere (also the equivalent Hella part).  So the MOT runs out, and there’s nothing you can do about it.  You’d be very lucky if a used one comes up  - they seem to be very rare.

It came as quite a shock that I suddenly had to change an otherwise perfectly good car that had only done 52,000 miles.  It’s amazing that a Vauxhall main dealer couldn’t keep this car on the road.  I’ve always liked Vauxhalls in the past, going back to a VX 4/90 in the 1960s, but now……..
