I'm just enquiring if this can be done as I'm not finding the answer any where online, we have xenon led drl headlights at the front of our vauxhall insignia 2015 which is supposed to be the top premium. however with the back log of waiting weeks to replace passenger side headlight only we are wondering if we can change both passenger and driver to a more basic one as there's loads of them out there we can get just not the current one if any one can help that would be appreciated. 

I'm in the same situation.  I spoke to a local auto electrician and he says it can't be done.  I'm picking up a set of older insignia headlights 1ZT 011 165 and will try them out, he's tried it and had to mod wiring loom but still had warning lights on dash.  My car has 1ZT 011 166-731 lights.  I'll post back if it works out.
