I have a Crossland X. In July 2024, just 2 months outside the warranty the dash board lit up like a Christmas tree and there was a whirring sound in engine like it was trying to cool something down, akin to an airplane engine. Took back to the dealer and was told after only 32,000 miles I required a brand new ECU! At enormous expense I fixed this. We are talking £2K . 6 months on same issue again. Exact same lights and whirring. Only now I'm told ABS sensor needs replacing! No explanation for whirring sound and why every light is on and message about releasing clutch. hey another £300 to fix sensor! Who knows what else is wrong to make the whirring noise. Overheating clutch??? Answers on a post card please. Can it be overheating when you start the vehicle!!? My advice to anyone reading this is DO NOT buy a Crossland X as you will live to severely regret that decision! MY FIRST AND LAST VAUXHALL full stop. 😡
